Personality
History
As a child, Lance trained in a military academy with his brothers, and racked up many awards and accolades. He also participated in a fencing club. One day as he was eating chips and paying no attention, he walked into an alley and was accidentally cut by a fencing student attacking his classmate. As he turned around, he stepped on a fallen chip from Lance's chip bag, making him extremely angry and resulting in him pushing him to the wall - not realizing he had a large patch of skin peeled away on his face. He realized the girl was from his fencing club, Suzanna Winchester, who then informed him about his cheek. Lance was excited about his new scar, and left the alley waving Suzanna goodbye.
Relationships
Lorena
Lance is engaged to Lorena. They are very similar, both being dense and liking sports. Lorena agrees to go to the gala with Lance when she finds the ticket in a popcorn bucket.
Suzanna
Lance and Suzanna were in the same fencing class, where Suzanna was easily the best. When Lance saved her from a classmate attacking her in an alley, he didn't seem to care about her legacy or her looks. Suzanna had never met anyone like him, and immediately fell in love with him. After the incident, Suzanna seemed unable to catch his attention, not even when "a memory of our encounter has been physically imprinted on his face!"
